Contest Rules

Cupcake Challenge

• Entry requires a MINIMUM of 2 dozen full size cupcakes. Mini cupcakes, cake pops and entries of less than 2 dozen cupcakes will not be accepted.
• Cupcakes and frosting cannot require refrigeration and should be able to stand for a reasonable amount of time in warm weather.
• Cupcakes are judged on appearance, taste, texture, 10 pts each category for a total of 30
• Only one cupcake entry per household may be entered, ‘family’ entries are encouraged
• Your cupcakes must be at the Chancery, in the bar on the west side of the building no later than 1:45 on Saturday, Sept. 8th. Judging starts at 2:00pm. You may not stay for the judging.
• Your cupcakes must be in a disposable container which will not be part of the judging.
• Prizes are awarded for 1^st thru 5^th and generally range from  75.00 to 400.00 in value. You should be there for the awards as the prizes are selected by the winners.
• We reserve the right to limit entries so enter early.
• After the judging all cupcakes are sold in the food court. Tosafest is a community fundraiser.

 Chili-Challenge

• You must supply 2 qts of any style chili. Ingredients are not restricted
• Chilis are judged on taste, consistency, appearance, aroma 10 pts each category for a total of 40. Although spiciness is not part of the judging criteria a medium spiced chili is recommended.
• Only one chili per household may be entered, ‘family’ entries are encouraged
• Your chili must be at the Chancery, in the bar on the west side of the building no later than 1:45 on Saturday, Sept. 8^th.  Judging starts at 2:00pm. You may not stay for the judging. Please bring your chili in a heated or heat retaining container. You will get the container back. Please pick the container back up at 4 if possible.
• Prizes are awarded for 1^st thru 5^th and generally range from  75.00 to 400.00 in value. You should be there for the awards as the prizes are selected by the winners.
• We reserve the right to limit the entries. Register early.
• After the judging all chili’s are combined and sold in the food court as Wauwatosa Wapatuli Chili. It has become a Tosafest tradition and is part of the Tosafest community fundraiser.
